The judges recognised the Passiv Smart Thermostat for addressing some of the most pressing challenges in low-carbon heating. Designed specifically to optimise heat pumps, it helps households reduce heating bills by up to 30% while improving heat pump efficiency by 17%, as independently verified by the Energy Saving Trust.
